Jessica Johnstone

Registered Massage Therapist

Jessica began her healthcare journey as a Physiotherapy Assistant in a multidisciplinary clinic, where her passion for client care and rehabilitation inspired her dream of opening

her own practice. After becoming Massage Therapist, she took the leap to establish

Johnstone Therapeutic Massage and build the supportive team it has today.

As a dedicated RMT, Jessica takes the time to truly listen to her clients and design treatment plans that keep their goals at the center. She combines her knowledge of anatomy with a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach, working through affected muscles to achieve the best results in each session. Jessica has a particular interest in treating the neck and shoulders, as well as helping those who struggle with tension headaches.

Her background as a Physiotherapy Assistant also allows her to confidently share stretches and exercises, supporting clients in achieving longer-lasting relief.

Outside the clinic, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors through hiking, and expressing her creativity through art.

Adam Woodworth

Registered Massage Therapist

Adam earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Waterloo, where he focused on chemistry, cellular biology, and genetics. While pursuing his PhD studies, he discovered a true passion for helping people directly and chose to follow that calling by becoming a Registered Massage Therapist.

With a strong foundation in the biological sciences and a compassionate, understanding approach, Adam works to uncover the root of his clients’ concerns. His treatments not only address immediate discomfort but also target underlying issues to promote recovery and reduce the risk of recurrence. Dedicated and client-focused, Adam is committed to supporting each individual in reaching their health and wellness goals.

Adam has a particular interest in working with athletes and treating muscle imbalances and injuries in the pelvis, hips, and legs. He also gives an excellent relaxation massage.

Outside of his practice, Adam enjoys hiking, canoeing, reading, board game design, and spending quality time with his family.

Erin Kalau

Registered Massage Therapist

Erin brings over 20 years of experience

to her practice, combining a strong foundation

in Kinesiology with advanced training in acupuncture, cupping, ultrasound, and sports injury management.

 

Her holistic approach focuses on treating

the whole person, not just the symptoms, ensuring that every client receives care tailored to their unique needs. Erin’s treatment style blends mobility work, deep tissue and sports massage, therapeutic techniques, and relaxation, allowing her to address both acute injuries and long-term wellness goals.

Known for her thoughtful and client-centered approach, Erin takes the time to listen, assess, and design individualized treatment plans that support recovery, improve function, and promote overall well-being.

Erin is very family oriented and lover of pets. In her personal time you will find her spending time with her niblings, she has even adopted the name Aunty from her friends kids.

Anie Cousineau

Registered Massage Therapist

Anie graduated from Trios College and brings a warm, attentive presence to every treatment. She uses her active listening skills to customize care that supports each client's unique goals, whether that means easing physical discomfort or promoting relaxation through skilled therapeutic touch. ​

She is especially passionate about relaxation focused massage that helps calm the nervous system and reduce stress. Her treatments can leave you feeling at ease, both physically and mentally using her heating pads for hands and her training in Hot Stone Massage. While her focus is on gentle, restorative treatments, she is experienced in addressing a variety of joint and soft tissue concerns. 

Anie believes in making massage therapy accessible and supportive for everyone, Anie is interested in working with vulnerable populations, including pregnant women and children. Her goal is always to create a safe, calming space where each client feels cared for and supported on their wellness journey.

In her spare time Anie writes songs and records voice overs. She loves to swim and hike in the summer and hibernate in the winter with a good book and too many cups of coffee. Anie is bilingual, speaking English and French.

Neha Nair

Physiotherapist

Neha is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and has a passion for helping people improve their quality of life. Her experience spans pediatric rehabilitation, senior wellness, and community-based physiotherapy, allowing her to support individuals across a wide range of ages, abilities, and health conditions.

Neha has gained clinical experience conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. Neha strives to create a supportive environment where individuals feel heard, empowered, and confident throughout their rehabilitation journey. She is committed to helping each patient reach their personal goals and live life to the fullest. She has a particular interest in pediatric rehabilitation, motor development, and neurological conditions.

Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist, Neha worked for several years as a Physiotherapist Assistant, developing a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and hands-on patient care. This experience helped shape her practical, empathetic approach and reinforced her commitment to helping patients achieve meaningful, lasting results.

Neha is a proud dog mom to Bruno and enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She loves reading novels, exploring new places, travelling, and staying active through outdoor sports and recreational activities. She believes in maintaining a healthy balance between professional growth, personal well-being, and lifelong learning.

Himanuel Swain

Resident Physiotherapist

Himanuel is a dedicated Physiotherapist

with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in both private clinics and senior wellness settings. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in India, where he developed a solid foundation in assessing and treating orthopedic and neurological conditions.

He continued to expand his expertise through work in multidisciplinary and senior-focused environment. Himanuel provides individualized care that includes thorough assessments, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modality-based treatments. He places strong emphasis on patient education, injury prevention, posture, and home exercise programs to support long-term recovery and independence.

Himanuel has experience working with mobility limitations, balance concerns, chronic conditions, and post-acute rehabilitation needs. He values evidence-based practice and client-centered treatment plans that are both effective and practical.

 

Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is an important part of his approach, ensuring well-rounded and coordinated care. 

 

He is committed to ongoing professional growth within the Canadian healthcare system and has a passionate for improving functional outcomes and quality of life for older adults.

Outside of the clinic, Himanuel enjoys spending time with his dog, Bruno, and connecting with friends. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Oriya.
